The existing App Sets were large; in the 2 billion rows category. So doing a backup and restore would be time consuming. The backup\/restore was also unnecessary because the OSoft share was not on the app server and I wasn&#8217;t bringing up a new database server.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>First I made a copy of the existing AppServer database. Then I did the BPC install. To bring the existing AppSets into the new environment I did the following for each App Set:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">AppServer Database<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Add a row to AppServer.dbo.tblAppSetInfo<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblAppSetInfo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1377\" src=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblAppSetInfo.png\" alt=\"tblAppSetInfo\" width=\"1323\" height=\"69\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Add a row to AppServer.dbo.tblAppSetAccess setting &lt;domain&gt;\\BPCSysAdmin as the UserID<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>App Set Database Tables. Only add rows to the following tables, if they don&#8217;t exist for &lt;domain&gt;\\BPCSysAdmin\n<ol>\n<li>tblUsers<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblUsers.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1378\" src=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblUsers.png\" alt=\"tblUsers\" width=\"792\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>UserTeamAssign<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/UserTeamAssign.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1379\" src=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/UserTeamAssign.png\" alt=\"UserTeamAssign\" width=\"377\" height=\"64\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>tblAppAccess<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblAppAccess.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1414\" src=\"http:\/\/turtlellc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/tblAppAccess.png\" alt=\"tblAppAccess\" width=\"298\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>App Set Database Security.
