After much searching I found some formats that work, but have not found a good reference document.<\/p>\n

To modify the format of a date or time, convert the column to text and apply these formats as needed.<\/p>\n

Month<\/td>\nm, mm<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Day<\/td>\nd, dd<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Year<\/td>\nyy, yyyy<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Hour<\/td>\nh, hh<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Minute<\/td>\nm, mm<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Second<\/td>\ns, ss<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
AM\/PM<\/td>\nAM\/PM<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Of course you need to go into SharePoint Designer and do a nowrap=”true” on the <td> if the date renders on 2 lines.<\/p>\n
